The Rapids Archery Club is dedicated to the future of archery and bowhunting. We are committed to do all we can to see that the next generation of archers and bowhunters get the instruction they need to fully enjoy our great sport.
To this end we offer a variety of archery classes.
The Rapids Archery Club offers beginning archery classes. The classes are for anyone ages 7 and up who wants to give archery a try. All equipment is provided. Our Summer Intro to Archery classes will start June 19, 2008. Registration for the summer classes is now open. The classes will be limited to the first 48 to register.

Archery Camp 2007
The Rapids Archery Club in cooperation with the Wargo Nature Center will be offering Archery Camp 2007. The dates are July 23-26 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The program is for youth in grades 6, 7, and 8. Youth will learn basic and intermediate archery, primitive skills, flint-napping, nature study, tracking and more. If you register before May 1st, the cost will be $125. Boy and Girl Scout and Home School Archery Classes.
These classes are setup for specific groups. For info on Boy Scout, Girl Scout and Home school archery classes send email to homeschool@rapidsarchery.org.

Bowhunter Education Classes
The is a NBEF (National Bowhunter Education Foundation) sanctioned bowhunting class. Classes will be held on February July 19, 2008. Children attending the class must be at least 12 years old on the date of the class. The child must have attended a Firearms Safety course or be signed up for an upcoming course. If they have completed a Firearms Safety course, they should bring their ID number with them to the Bowhunter Ed. Class. Cost for the class is $5.00. Class registration starts at 7:50a.m. The Class starts at 8:00a.m. and will finish at 4:30p.m. Lunch is provided.
